Design and functions:

RADWAG formula making systems are designed with application of RADWAG scales (formula making scales) and dedicated blocks adjusting weighing systems to cooperation with existing (or under construction) automatics in a plant. Formula making system allows for preparation of mixtures from formula ingredients (dosing output). Each ingredient has its mass assigned to it, which masses are measured during dosing process controlled by the system.

It is also common to implement a formula making system into an existing technological line. RADWAG company offers its assistance in implementation of a formula making system into existing technological lines. It is possible to design complex formula making systems, based on E2R Network Management of Weighing System, random scales equipped with indicator series PUE 5 and RADWAG weighing platforms.

A system can include a dedicated control panels , selected according to customer needs (system functionality), and chosen from control panels offered by RADWAG. Control panels can be manufactured by RADWAG (additional controlling box) or adapted from already existing controlling boxes at customer’s location, both depending on customer needs.

Accessible formula making modes:

• Standard Formula Making Process – batching process of ingredients, conducted in series;

• Random Formula Making Process – batching process of ingredients at random order;

• Parallel formula making process – parallel batching process of ingredients on several platforms at the same time;

• Fine Formulas Making Process; 

• Automatic Formula Making Process - it requires selecting of formula / order by the operator, inserting parameters for formula realization, and process initiation from scale indicator level. The process runs automatically and weighing result is saved in weighing data base (E2R Network Management of Weighing System);

• Manual Formula Making Process - requires full control of an operator, who switches on and off the valves in right time. System controls weighing process of a substance. As the substance is weighed, the data is saved in weighing data base;

• Service Mode - used in maintenance activities. It also allows for controlling pumps.
